ENSEMBLE THEATER

The Beast of Times (formerly, "Jotalogues.") was conceived and written by Adelina, after she received the NPN Creation Fund Award in 2010.  Early in the workshop process she invited fellow artist, D'Lo to co-perform.  Aside from a constant source of inspiration in the workshop rehearsals, he contributed a character monologue to the play, and helped originate some of the zany characterizations. (Directed by Mark Valdez.  Costume and prop design by Marisa Becerra.  Photos shown below by Anjali Alimchandani from the 2011 allgo/Austin workshop production.)

SAVE THE DATES!

This production officially world-premieres in  Los Angeles for a 3-week run at the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center's Renberg Theater from May 31st-June 16th, 2013.

"We might possess every technological resource... but if our language is inadequate, our vision remains formless, our thinking and feeling are still running in the old cycles, our process may be "revolutionary" but not transformative."
-- Adrienne Rich
